Alexander D. Merdiuszew, 86, of Mount Joy, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 8, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born August 12, 1935, in Russia, he was the son of the late Elvira and Dmitri Merdiuszew. He was the loving husband of Raissa (Szczerbenko) Merdiuszew.

 

Alexander attended Christ the Savior Orthodox Church of Harrisburg. He spent his career at Honeywell for 32 years. He was a hard-working man who always took care of his family.

 

In addition to his wife, Raissa, he is survived by his two children; Olga Womer, wife of Fredrick of Mount Joy and Alexander Merdiuszew, husband of Christina of Doylestown; and three grandchildren, Alexander Womer, Carter Merdiuszew, and Ava Merdiuszew. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Valentina Bergners and Dmitri Merdiushev.
